Disney Announced ANOTHER Ship!

When my sister turned on an iPad, she was very surprised.  That iPad had the USA Today app, and whenever there's a new article, an alert bubble appears on screen.  This time, the bubble was about Disney Cruise Line announcing a third ship!  She tapped on the bubble and an article called 'More Mickey at sea!  Disney unveils plans for another cruise ship!'  You can read the article here.  The article said that there will be a third future ship in the DCL fleet!  Like the other two previously announced, the third will be around 135,000 tons.  That's a bit larger than the Dream and Fantasy.  The newly announced ship will probably be launched in 2022, the year after the first new one, and the year before the third.  The three future ships will be built at Meyer Werft, like the Dream and Fantasy.
Now there will be seven ships in Disney Cruise Line's fleet!
I can't wait for the new ships!  Too bad I'll have to wait 4 years for the first new ship.

Special thanks to my sister, who turned on the iPad and found out the news!

  1. What additions would you like to see on the future ships?

  2. I would like to see water activities. For example, larger pools, more slides, etc. Those always seem to be super busy on sea days.

  3. I agree. On our most recent Fantasy cruise, the only reasonable time to go to Donald's Pool was when people were preparing for the earlier dinner seating. The pools would benefit from being bigger.

  4. Great suggestions and I agree the pools are too small. I also wonder where the ships will be based. West coast? Asia? Somewhere else?

  5. I agree with the other comments about the pools. They are too small for the amount of kids and adults that use them, especially days at sea. Maybe the new ships will take that into consideration!
